SOUTHAVEN, Miss.–Springfest was abruptly shut down Saturday in Southaven, according to police, “out of an abundance of caution”.
That happened after rumors circulated, based upon a large police presence on Getwell Rd., that shots had been fired at or near Sprngfest.
While the Police Dept., posted on Facebook that the rumors were not true, the event was still ended early.
