WASHINGTON–A Mississippi Congressman is being accused of an assault and the accuser has provided a video.
Sumer Mobarak, a pro-Palestinian protester has filed assault charges with Capital Police.
The video shows her questioning Ezell as he walked down a hallway. The questions were over policy with Israel. He could be heard telling Mobarak to “shut up” and “knock it off” before the phone is knocked off kilter.
Mobarak claims he slapped it out of her hand.
Ezell said he will not be harassed or intimidated by China-backed protesters into ending support for Israel.
