HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss.–You might remember hearing about the April 19 murder of Jaquavion Bell at a city park in Holly Springs, by a man witnesses said was firing a rifle toward a crowd. Police say that man was Markavis Sanders, 20, of Fayette County, Tennessee, and he’s been arrested.
According to police, Sanders was arrested at a home in Memphis by U.S. Marshals.
His arrest was Friday and came after a warrant was issued in April.
Sanders is expected to be returned to Mississippi soon to face murder charges.
