Cleveland, Mississippi – An incident occurred at Amzie Moore Park around 6:30 PM on April 11th, according to a statement released by the Cleveland Police Department. A female suspect identified as Chassidy Walker allegedly shot at another female while in the park, and was immediately taken into custody by responding officers.
Walker has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Discharging a firearm within the city limits, and appeared at an initial hearing today. However, her bond was denied and she will be held until her court date. The case will be turned over to the Bolivar County District Attorney’s office for prosecution.
