SENATOBIA, Miss.–The Tate County School District is one of 20 school districts in Mississippi to receive a grant to continue its State Invested Pre-K program.
The district is receiving $375,000 in total for three years.
The Mississippi State Board of Education issued the grants, making the announcement Monday, based on the numbers of students, with $125,000 per classroom.
A total of $24 million was awarded to 20 districts around the state.
