The City of Greenville presented a $10,000 check to Sacred Space to assist with daily operations. Sacred Space is a non-profit organization that serves the community by providing resources, food, and housing for people in need. During a budget session meeting this summer, the Greenville City Council decided to allot $10,000 to Sacred Space for the work they do in the community. Throughout the year, this organization has continuously provided aid to those having a rough time, giving them the support they need to get back on their feet. “This administration supports organizations that lift the least, the lost, and the left behind,” Mayor Errick Simmons said.
