The iconic band will take center stage on Thursday, September 7th, at 7:30 p.m., kicking off the Fall 2023 mainstage series. This special concert promises an evening filled with classic hits and heartfelt emotions.
Since forming in 1968, The Commodores have impacted the music scene, and now they’re ready to bring their magic to BPAC. The group started during their college days at the Tuskegee Institute and soon caught the attention of the famous Berry Gordy. This led to a unique partnership with the Motown record label. Their popular songs like “Machine Gun” and “Sail On” have made them well-known artists, selling an impressive 60 million records. Their biggest achievement, the Grammy Award, came in 1986 for their hit “Night Shift.”
