GREENVILLE, Miss. — Three people have been arrested in connection with a commercial burglary reported at a Greenville pawn shop, police said.
Greenville Police Department officers responded at about 8:59 a.m. Sept. 21 to a pawn shop at 1836 Highway 82 East after receiving a report of a burglary.
Upon arrival, officers found the business owner had detained one of the alleged suspects, identified as Terrance Hogan, until police arrived.
According to the preliminary investigation, someone entered the business after cutting a large hole through the rear wall of the building.
Investigators identified Jacob Taylor and Malania Fields as two additional suspects believed to have been involved in the burglary, police said.
Information gathered during the investigation led officers to the Colonial Inn at 1812 Highway 82 East, near the pawn shop. With assistance from additional Greenville police officers, Taylor and Fields were located and arrested without further incident.
Police also recovered merchandise believed to have been taken from the business.
Hogan, Taylor and Fields were each arrested on a charge of commercial/business burglary and transported to the Greenville Police Department for processing.
