Greenville Police have taken 19-year-old Antonio Rome and 20-year-old Albert Davis into custody after a routine traffic stop. The stop was conducted in the 400 block of South Eureka after authorities responded to a disturbance at a party. When the vehicle was stopped, three males attempted to flee the scene on foot before being apprehended. Police confiscated drugs and several firearms, including an assault rifle. An unnamed juvenile was also taken into custody, according to reports. Rome is charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Gang Activity, and Possession of Marijuana (Felony amount). Meanwhile, Davis is charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Gang Activity.

Police transported both adults to the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, where they are waiting for their initial court appearances. The Youth Court will oversee the juvenile’s charges. “We remain steadfast in our fierce fight against gang activity and other violent crimes in our community,” says Police Chief Marcus Turner. “This includes adults who contribute to and encourage such behavior from those who are under the age of 18,” he added.
