JACKSON, MS (256 PM CDT Tue Jul 14 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northeastern Ashley County in southeastern Arkansas until 345 PM CDT. At 256 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Snyder, or 14 miles northeast of Hamburg, and is nearly stationary. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Snyder around 305 PM CDT. Montrose around 345 PM CDT. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
