JACKSON, MS (234 AM CST Sat Jan 11 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Western Chicot County in southeastern Arkansas Ashley County in southeastern Arkansas Northwestern Morehouse Parish in northeastern Louisiana until 330 AM CST. At 234 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Hilo to Farmerville, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Severe thunderstorms will be near Fountain Hill around 255 AM CST. Beekman around 305 AM CST. Berlin around 315 AM CST. Dermott and Jones around 320 AM CST. Wilmot and Parkdale around 325 AM CST. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Blanchton. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
