JACKSON, MS (102 PM CST Mon Dec 16 2019) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Chicot County in southeastern Arkansas Northern Washington County in northwestern Mississippi Southwestern Bolivar County in northwestern Mississippi until 215 PM CST. At 102 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Montrose, or 13 miles west of Lake Village, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Lake Village around 115 PM CST. Mcmillan Corner around 120 PM CST. Greenville, Scott, Metcalfe, Winterville and Lamont around 140 PM CST. Shaw around 200 PM CST. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Arcola. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
