JACKSON, MS (1221 PM CDT Sun Apr 12 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northern Madison Parish in northeastern Louisiana Northern Warren County in west central Mississippi Southeastern Issaquena County in west central Mississippi until 115 PM CDT. At 1221 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Monticello to near Delhi to near Winnsboro, moving east at 65 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Severe thunderstorms will be near Waverly and Tendal around 1225 PM CDT. Omega and Mansford around 1240 PM CDT. Eagle Bend around 1245 PM CDT. Tallulah around 1250 PM CDT. Redwood around 110 PM CDT. Oak Ridge and Youngton around 115 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Richmond. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
