JACKSON, MS (1226 PM CDT Sun Apr 12 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Chicot County in southeastern Arkansas Northeastern Ashley County in southeastern Arkansas North central East Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana Washington County in northwestern Mississippi Northwestern Issaquena County in west central Mississippi Northwestern Sharkey County in west central Mississippi until 130 PM CDT. At 1226 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gassoway, or near Eudora, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Glen Allan around 1235 PM CDT. Avon around 1245 PM CDT. Hollandale and Estill around 1250 PM CDT. Darlove around 1255 PM CDT. Tribbett around 100 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Arcola.
