JACKSON, MS (325 PM CST Mon Dec 16 2019) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Sunflower County in northwestern Mississippi Holmes County in central Mississippi Southern Leflore County in north central Mississippi East central Washington County in northwestern Mississippi Humphreys County in central Mississippi Northeastern Sharkey County in west central Mississippi until 430 PM CST. At 325 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Murphy, or 8 miles southeast of Hollandale, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Midnight around 335 PM CST. Isola around 340 PM CST. Belzoni around 345 PM CST. Swiftown around 350 PM CST. Tchula around 355 PM CST. Sidon around 405 PM CST. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Silver City, Louise, West, Morgan City and Cruger.
