JACKSON, MS (357 AM CST Wed Mar 4 2020) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Holmes County in central Mississippi Southwestern Attala County in central Mississippi Central Yazoo County in central Mississippi Northeastern Madison County in central Mississippi until 445 AM CST. At 357 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Yazoo City, moving east at 65 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near Benton around 405 AM CST. Vaughan around 415 AM CST. Pickens around 420 AM CST. Goodman and Cameron around 425 AM CST. Camden around 430 AM CST. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
