OXFORD, Miss.–The man accused of killing Ole Miss student Jimmy “Jay” Lee in 2022 is set to go on trial in Oxford in October. But, his lawyer is asking for a change of venue.
Sheldeon Timothy Herrington, Jr.’s attorney says the man can’t get a fair trial in the county because of publicity.
Evidence against Herrington includes video of him leaving the victim’s apartment. Prosecutors believe the professional mover may have used a box truck to move and dispose of the body.
