ATTALA, Miss. — Two men were killed Friday in a crash involving two tractor-trailers and a passenger vehicle on Highway 12 in Attala County, authorities said.
The collision happened around 10:20 a.m., according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
A Freightliner truck driven by 45-year-old John L. Headges Jr. of Kilmichael was traveling westbound when it collided with an eastbound 2008 Volvo tractor-trailer driven by 67-year-old Rosquette P. Raul of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. The impact forced the Volvo into a Toyota, also traveling east, driven by a minor from Lexington.
Raul and Headges were both pronounced dead at the scene. The minor was not injured.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
