GREENVILLE, Miss. — Two students from T.L. Weston Middle School are representing the Greenville Public School District this week at a national leadership conference in Washington, D.C.
Chloe Chinn and Marissa Hurt, both rising eighth graders, are attending the Junior National Young Leaders Conference, hosted by Envision by WorldStrides.
They join more than 750 students from across the country selected to participate in the program, which focuses on leadership development, civic engagement and hands-on learning experiences in the nation’s capital.
The weeklong event includes workshops, simulations and visits to historical landmarks to inspire and prepare future leaders.
