GREENVILLE, Miss. — Two people were injured in a drive-by shooting early Friday morning near the Alon gas station on Highway 82 East, according to police.
Officers with the Greenville Police Department responded to Delta Health Systems around 2:30 a.m., where the victims were being treated in the emergency room.
Witnesses said a passing vehicle fired shots into the gas station parking lot, hitting an unidentified man and woman. The victims were transported to the hospital by private car for treatment.
No suspects have been identified, and police are continuing their investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers at (662) 378-TIPS or use the P3 app. Tipsters could receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
