COAHOMA COUNTY, Miss. — Two people were killed Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 61 South near the Coahoma-Tunica County line, according to the Coahoma County Fire Department.
Personnel from the Coahoma County Fire Department, Tunica Volunteer Fire Department and Pafford Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash after receiving reports of a collision involving injuries.
Emergency personnel found one person with significant injuries and two others who were pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
