The Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health (IAMH) is on a mission to provide accurate and readily available answers about COVID-19. There is no foreseeable future without the ramifications of the virus, and the myths and misinformation around the topic have run rampant since the beginning of the pandemic. Spreading incorrect information can lead to unlimited health risks and even death.
Join IAMH at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, as they give a #TruthCheck to the community and help lead the way in positive fact sharing. IAMH is hosting this virtual panel discussion to debunk all myths and misinformation. Asia McCoy, IAMH program manager, will moderate the conversation with panelists Dr. Timothy Quinn and Dr. Freddie Kency, Jr. Both local doctors have seen the results of the virus daily, Dr. Quinn as a Family Physician, and Dr. Kency as an Emergency Medicine Physician.
