HORN LAKE, Miss.–A man from Horn Lake who has been wanted for two years in the death of a man who was riding a bicycle in East Memphis, has been arrested.
Zachary Surratt is charged with vehicular homicide, reckless driving and disregarding a stop sign for the Feb. 9, 2022 wreck in which he hit Leonidas Zoulogaines, 71, at Sam Cooper Blvd. and North Graham St. Surratt, according to police, was pulling a trailer with his SUV and ignored both the bike lane and a stop sign to merge into traffic, hitting the man.
Zoulogaines died the next day.
A warrant was issued in June of 2022. It was unclear how he avoided law enforcement for two years.
