CLEVELAND, Miss.–Despite the forecast that highs would make it into the 30s or even above 40 Wednesday in the Delta, some closings and cancelations were still happening.
The forecast means that most of the icy spots will be gone by Wednesday afternoon, making travel safe.
Some Delta school districts also chose to remain closed until Thursday morning. Those included Greenville, Sunflower County, Delta State, and east and west Tallahatchie. Other districts were on virtual learning through Wednesday.
