Woman Facing Charges After Fugitive is Caught in Her Home

FRIAR’S POINT, Miss.–Wednesday a fugitive named Jemard Black was caught at a house in Friar’s point by U.S. Marshals. Now the woman whose house it is, is facing charges.

A news release from the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Dept. says Black was hiding at Cherese Johnson’s home. She is charged with hindering prosecution.
Black was wanted on armed robbery and aggravated assault charges and was considered armed and dangerous.
