GREENVILLE, Miss.–Greenville Police are investigating a shooting in which one person was killed and another was wounded when a car was shot up along Hwy. 82.
The incident happened Sunday, according to a new release from police.
They were called to Hwy. 82 near Fairview St. They saw a 2020 Honda Sonata with three people inside. One person in the front seat had been shot several times. Another person in the back seat had also been shot.
The person in the back, identified publicly as a 16-year-old male, was pronounced dead by the Washington County Coroner’s office. The other victim was taken to Delta Health Systems.
