THE DELTA (Ben Caxton) — Forecasters are saying that a strong cold front moving into the Delta from the west will likely touch off another bout of severe weather Friday night into Saturday. The front is expected to generate a squall line of intense storms that could produce severe weather including high winds, hail, and a few tornadoes as the line passes through. This storm system will mark the severe weather incident in the last few weeks, that began with a December 16 tornado outbreak across Mississippi that saw seven twisters touchdown.
