THE DELTA, Ben Caxton) — Several area health centers have won funding from the federal government to purchase items like protective clothing, testing, and test-related activities. The awards, in Bennie Thompson’s 2nd Congressional district, included $221,749 to the Dr, Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center in Lexington, $291,289 to the Delta Health Center in Mound Bayou, and $308,029 for the Aaron E. Henry Community Health Services, in Clarksdale.
