YAZOO COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — The body of a man recovered from the Big Black River in Yazoo County over the weekend has been identified as 36- year old Phillip Dunn who has been missing since February. Yazoo County Sheriff Jacob Sheriff said Dunn’s car was found abandoned in Yazoo County on February 11 with bloodstains inside. Dunn’s body was found tangled up in tree limbs along the river bank by a fisherman near Highway 16. The case is being treated as a potential homicide.
