State-regulated casinos can reopen today at 50% capacity with social distancing requirements, but itâs not clear how many employees will be called back to work. The Isle of Capri in Lula and Tunicaâs Samâs Town, the Fitz, Hollywood and Horseshoe casinos will open today while the Gold Strike is opening Monday. North Mississippi gaming revenues dropped from about $45 million in February to $29 million in March but the numbers donât include revenues and jobs lost at restaurants, gas stations and other businesses like the historic Hollywood Café, immortalized in Marc Cohnâs hit âWalking in Memphis”. Itâs scheduled to reopen on June 1st. [sc name=”twitterfollow”]
