MARKS, Miss.–A minor was killed in a wreck in Quitman County. The Mississippi Highway Patrol has not publicly identified that person.
The wreck happened Monday afternoon, just after 2:30 at the intersection of Hwy. 6 and Tutor Rd. That’s where a Chevy Tahoe and a Ford Escape hit.
The drivers of both SUVs were hurt, their injuries described as “moderate”.
The child was a passenger in the Escape.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
