CLARKSDALE, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Clarksdale Public Utilities board met yesterday and in a brief meeting declared about fifty items, ranging from file cabinets to video monitors and a lawnmower to be surplus inventory. The board also approved the purchase of a new 60-inch zero-turn mower under a state contract for $10,763 from Hartleyâs Greenhead Outdoors for the building and grounds department. CPUâs next public meeting will be March 10th at 4:15 PM.
