VICKSBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — Workers performing repairs will cause delays for drivers on Interstate 20 through Vicksburg beginning in under two weeks. Louisiana transportation officials say the westbound lanes of the interstate will see intermittent shutdowns between January 20 and May 15 as part of a $27.7 million project that will resurface the bridge deck with new concrete, replace electrical circuits and add LED lighting and fiber optic cables, new cameras, and radar to integrate with Mississippi’s IT network.
