JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — Mississippi health officials on Friday said they now have confirmed six cases of COVID-19 in the state. Three of the cases are in Forest County where a man tested positive earlier this week and is resting comfortably at home. The other three cases are from Leflore, Pearl River, and Copiah counties. Doctors say there are more on the way and urge residents to follow precautions that have already been widely publicized. The Leflore County case was confirmed in Greenwood when an adult woman tested positive for the novel virus.[sc name=”twitterfollow”]
