VICKSBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Mississippi State Department of Health and University of Mississippi Medical Center will host a one-day drive through coronavirus testing sites today in Vicksburg and Greenwood, tomorrow in Meridian and Thursday in Natchez and Picayune. Before getting an appointment for testing anyone experiencing coronavirus-like symptoms must be pre-screened by calling a UMMC clinician or using the C-Spire Virtual COVID-19 telehealth smartphone app. Statewide over 3300 people have been tested and about a third of those who test positive are hospitalized.
