GREENVILLE, Miss. — Officer Myeisha Stewart, who lost her life in the line of duty, will be honored Thursday evening in a memorial ceremony. The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Washington County Convention Center, 1040 S Raceway Road, and conclude with a procession to the Greenville Police Department.
A “sea of blue,” symbolizing law enforcement solidarity, is expected to fill the convention center as officers, community members, and officials gather to pay tribute to Stewart’s service and sacrifice. Stewart, who was dedicated to protecting her community, died while responding to a call in October 2022.
The ceremony will highlight her legacy and the ultimate sacrifice she made.
