On September 4th, 2023, around 2 a.m., gunshots were in the 400 block of Valliant Street.
Police arrived after hearing about the gunfire and found a damaged house. They discovered Kensheria Smith, 27 years old, who had been shot. They rushed her to Delta Health Systems, but she sadly didn’t survive.
