Greenville Fire Department Launches Fire Safety Poster Contest for Students

The Greenville Fire Department has unveiled an initiative to promote fire safety awareness among the community’s youngest members. The newly announced “Greenville Fire Department Fire Safety Poster Contest” is open to students in the 1st through 3rd grades.

The 1st Place winner will not only be rewarded with a cash prize but will also have the unique opportunity to ride to school in a fire truck, an experience sure to be the envy of their classmates. Furthermore, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be treated to a memorable ride to school on a fire truck.

The contest’s submission deadline is September 30th. Students are encouraged to create posters illustrating essential fire safety tips. Local firefighters will serve as the judges.

The winning posters will receive special recognition by being displayed at City Hall, allowing the community to appreciate the students’ efforts in promoting fire safety.
