The Greenville Fire Department is gearing up for its annual cancer walk, scheduled to take place on October 7th at 10 a.m. in Schleben Park.
Individuals interested in participating or sponsoring someone affected by cancer, whether they are currently battling the disease, are survivors, or have sadly passed away, are encouraged to contact the Greenville Fire Department.
Chief Brown, the head of the Greenville Fire Department, emphasized that the walk’s purpose extends beyond raising awareness for breast cancer alone. It seeks to bring attention to the broader cancer issue and its impact on individuals and communities.
