The Greenville Police Department (GPD) is actively working to piece together the details surrounding the city’s most recent homicide. Responding to reports of a shooting, officers swiftly arrived at the scene located at the intersection of Broadway and Union. Tragically, a 24-year-old African American male victim had sustained gunshot wounds and was swiftly transported to the Delta Health System’s Emergency Room.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the victim succumbed to his injuries a short while later. The identity of the deceased will be disclosed to the public once his family has been properly notified.
