Greenville, MS- In the late hours of Thursday, June 8th, the Greenville Police Department responded to a distress call reporting gunshots fired in the vicinity of Lake and Ohea streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered a black male, later identified as 41-year-old Kendrick Johnson from Greenville, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
The scene was swiftly secured, and law enforcement investigators commenced their efforts to gather crucial evidence and additional information pertaining to the incident. As of now, no arrests have been made, but authorities are actively pursuing several leads in their quest to identify the perpetrator(s) responsible for this crime.
