The Greenville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta is announcing a Meet and Greet event for political candidates on Saturday, August 5th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. The event will occur at the Washington County Circuit Courtroom and is open to the public. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a non-partisan organization sponsoring this event as part of its Five Point National Thrust, which includes Political Awareness and Involvement.
Several candidates, including Democratic Gubernatorial Brandon Presley, have confirmed their Meet and Greet event attendance. The organization intends the event to serve as a platform for individuals to meet the candidates and better understand the issues that impact them and their community.
The organization invites interested candidates to email [email protected] to be included and added to the list of those expected to attend. Once again, the event takes place on August 5th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Washington County Circuit Courtroom.
