JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — Electrical bills may be dropping a little for customers in Mississippi soon. The Mississippi Public Service Commission says a vote to lower rates for customers will mean about $2.50 in savings for a customer who uses a typical 1,000-kilowatt hours of energy each month. Bills for most residential customers have dropped by about $8 per month since Christmas.
