GREENVILLE, Miss. (AP) — A Greenville man has been arrested and charged with business burglary after he allegedly broke into a local business and stole over $1,000 in tobacco products.
According to the Greenville Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 50blk of Dr. King North around 3 a.m. on March 8 in response to an alarm. Upon arrival, officers found that the front window of the business had been broken with a brick and the door unlocked.
Upon further investigation, camera footage revealed the suspect as 43-year-old Carl Bryant. Police were able to identify and locate Bryant, who was subsequently arrested on the charge of business burglary.
Bryant is currently being held in the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, awaiting his initial appearance.
