JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Mississippi State Department on Health is recommending that all healthcare workers wear facemasks while working to protect the health of both the provider and patients, even if they are not in direct contact with patients. MSDH also recommends that all Mississippians wear non-medical grade or homemade cloth masks when away from home. The extra safety measure is especially important in areas where social distancing is difficult to maintain, such as grocery stores.[sc name=”twitterfollow”]
