The as-yet-unidentified inmate becomes the first in the state prison system to test positive for the coronavirus. Last week, MDOC announced three employees tested positive for COVID-19. A statement said the man had been sick for weeks and had underlying health problems. The state says they are taking immediate steps to further isolate any prisoners he may have had contact with him at Parchman. [sc name=”twitterfollow”]
