JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — Mississippiâs Legislature recessed on March 18th following Governor Tate Reevesâ State of Emergency declaration related to COVID-19 but will get back to work next month. State leadership is working to establish protocols for working and visiting the Capitol as shelter-in-place restrictions begin to be lifted. Budget analysts have said all state agencies have the funds required to meet their immediate financial needs.
