Florida leads the list and Mississippi ranks 41st. 29 key indicators of dating-friendliness, from the share of single adults to nightlife options per capita, were considered and the Magnolia state ranked 28th in the gender balance of single adults, 40th in restaurants per capita, 48th in movie theatres per capita, 43rd in median household income and 22nd in crime rate.
