Arkansas has confirmed 3137 cases and 57 deaths while Tennessee has 10,336 cases with 195 deaths. Officials say there have been 756 COVID-19 cases among inmates in seven Tennessee prisons. No deaths have been reported and the vast majority of the positive cases are not symptomatic but eight inmates have been hospitalized. For most people coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms such as fever and cough but for older adults and people with existing health problems, the highly contagious virus can cause severe symptoms and be fatal.
