JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves’ “safer at home” order remains in effect until May 11th. Some businesses are allowed to reopen and physicians can start offering some services that had been limited in recent weeks but restaurants are still restricted to carry-out or delivery, barber shops, salons, tattoo parlors and movie theaters remain closed and gatherings of 10 or more people are still banned. The city of Clarksdale has also extended its curfew and “shelter in place” order until May 11th.
